They allow for efficient, space-saving, and safe transport of bottles and save supermarket employees the time-consuming task of putting them on the shelves. Taking a further step towards sustainability, Rauch Fruchtsäfte will in future be using beverage trays made of recycled material – the new trays are made of 70% recycled PET.

When drinktec 2017, the world’s leading trade fair for the beverage and liquid food industry, opens its doors for trade visitors from all over the world from September 11 to 15, 2017, then a packaging type will be almost omnipresent in the limelight: PET.

Sidel, the leading global provider of PET solutions for liquid packaging, has announced a new initiative aimed at reducing the amount of PET used in beverage bottles worldwide, thereby helping producers to save money and improve their environmental footprint at the same time.

The new facility operates as Sidel's South Hispanic hub in Latin America, serving its customers in Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay and Bolivia.
